Relievers Brain Gym®
- Brain Gym® is a program of easy physical movements that
synchronize body and mind to optimize how we learn. The movements
bring about rapid and lasting physical changes in fundamental
abilities including: focus, organization, comprehension, physical
coordination, social and communication skills, memory, attentiveness
and more. It was developed in the 1970’s as what would become
the cornerstone of the field of Educational Kinesiology. Presented

Fitness
and Fun for Kids
- Fitness expert Kathy Juaire Daulton will offer information and
creative ideas on how to motivate a child to get involved in exercise
filled activities. She will share ideas on how to entice a young
child to want to play or engage in a fitness class, medical statistics
for young children, recommended fitness guidelines for young children,
and concerns shared by pediatricians. Kathy will present creative
music and movement ideas including exercise games, hoola hoops,
beanbags, rhythm sticks, parachutes and other props. Join in on
the fun that begins with a warm-up, continues on with motivating
creative movement and finishes off with yoga and a relaxing stretch.
This 30-minute exercise program for ages 2-10 is easy and fun

Fun Fest For Your Kids!
- Mister Jim, a three time Minnesota Music Award nominee and award
winning songwriter, will offer a buffet of musical activities,
strategies and kid tested tunes from his 20 year career as a children’s
performer and educator. Easily learned tunes will be shared to
help with transitions, creating class community and engaging your
children in active, joyful self expression. Mister Jim will show
how his barrel of musical fun can be like having another helping

it comes to fruits and vegetables more matters. A growing body
of evidence points to the health benefits of fruits and vegetables
yet many people still fail to eat enough. This workshop, presented

to include more fruits and vegetables in your meals. Food program
participants will meet their required CACFP annual training requirements
